1 – Is the hotel quiet?
Yes, peace and quiet is one of the hotel’s features. Located on a quiet street and equipped with double-glazed windows, the hotel offers “soft” nights - it’s one of our promises.
2 – Is the district centrally located?
In total, seven metro lines pass less than five minutes from the hotel: a record!
Located two minutes from Gare de l’Est, you can travel directly by metro to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Boulevard Saint Germain and the Opera (lines 4, 5 or 7).
Located five minutes from Place de la Republique, you can directly reach the Champs Elysées, the Eiffel Tower, major department stores, Bastille and other attractions by metro (lines 3, 5, 8, 9 or 11...).
A self-service bicycle hire station (“Vélib”) is also accessible in front of the hotel.
Finally, near the hotel you’ll reach the Marais, the historic heart of Paris located just beyond Place de la Republique, or you can take an evening stroll to the corner and enjoy the Saint Martin Canal.
3 – At what time must I return in the evening?
The hotel is accessible both day and night, 24 hours a day. A receptionist is always available, so you can stay out as long as you like!
4 – What can I do with my luggage on the last day?
Our hotel is happy to hold your luggage on your departure day (or upon your arrival) so you can enjoy Paris (or work) without constraint. Pick up your luggage right before leaving for the train station or the airport!
5 – Is the district lively in the evening?
The southern part of the 10th arrondissement is considered one of the capital city’s rising, trendy districts. A dozen appealing restaurants are located within steps from the hotel, including the terraces near Saint Martin Canal - or even on the banks of the canal itself - teeming with picnickers from the first sign of nice weather. Consult our “district” heading to unearth an exceptional bakery, a recognized wine bar or an art bookstore…
6 – Is the district charming?
The hotel’s street is typically Parisian and overlooks the Saint Martin Canal, with its romantic bridges dating from the 1900s as well as its café-restaurants. A beautiful, flower-filled park emerges just behind the hotel. The district is authentic and lively, creating a village-like setting. 7 – Is the hotel non-smoking?
All common areas (hallways, lounges, reception) are entirely non-smoking. In addition, the majority of our hotel rooms are specifically and explicitly non-smoking.
8 – Is it possible to park near the hotel?
Yes, a private, monitored car park is located in a building right next to the hotel. The owner offers a reduced rate to hotel guests. (please refer to the directions to the hotel).
9 – Are children welcome?
We love our guests … and their children. We have several baby cots and we’re pleased to welcome young families. Children sleeping in the same room with their parents are free of charge up to the age of three. From the age of four, an adult supplemental bed fee may be added to the parents’ room (please inform the reception desk).
10 – What is a hotel with “accessible design”?
It’s a hotel decorated in contemporary style with new amenities, in line with current aspirations: refined lines, spacious and smooth showers, chrome bathroom fixtures, flat screen televisions, elegant lighting and background music … all creating a Soft atmosphere!
